Black and white crappie fair on caddis flies, grubs, hair jigs, jigs, minnows and nymphs around brush structure, docks, points and standing timber. Fishing has been tougher this week. Striped bass are still being caught below the dam on live shad, while the main lake bite has been inconsistent. Catfish are being caught near river channels and the mouth of the river, and crappie are biting on jigs with PowerBait and minnows in 6–25 feet of water.
