A heat advisory remains in effect for LeFlore County today from 1 to 8 p.m., with heat index values up to 101 degrees expected across southeast Oklahoma and western Arkansas. This follows Thursday’s advisory, when heat index values climbed as high as 109 degrees across eastern Oklahoma.
