In Oklahoma, “average daily membership” (ADM) is a key metric used to determine state funding for a school district. It reflects the average number of students officially enrolled in a school, which is a different calculation from average daily attendance (ADA), which is the number of students who actually attend school on a given day.
ADM is not a simple head count. It is a weighted calculation that takes into account a number of factors.
