Sunday, July 12 — Temperatures ease slightly, with a high near 87, though heat index values could still approach or exceed 100 degrees at times. Rain chances rise to around 45 percent as better storm coverage moves through.

Monday, July 13 — Partly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of showers or storms. High near 93.
