Ada “Peggy” Fay (Katuin) Naylor of Heavener was born May 25, 1943 in Mauston, Wisconsin to Dick and Ida Josephine (Harris) Katuin. She passed away Oct. 31, 2025 in Heavener at the age of 82.
Memorial service to celebrate Peggy’s life is 2 p.m. Saturday at Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener, Oklahoma with Brother John Paul McAlester officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Peggy, a cherished member of the community for many years, was the dedicated cafeteria director at the Poteau Hospital. She was a graduate of Webb High School in Reedsburg, Wisconsin. Peggy loved playing board games, doing puzzles with her family, and reading.
She was a member of the Heavener Book Club. Peggy treasured the moments spent in the company of her family and loved ones. She enjoyed being outdoors and going camping. Her absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew her.
Surviving family members are one daughter, Sherry Pollard; one son, Craig Allan Kintz; one sister, Marcella Ruth Katuin; her grandchildren Brett Mitts, Kaitlyn Kintz, Rebecca Strode, Amanda Stallings, Tegan Louks, Bridget Yandell, Michael Owens and Victoria Owens; her great-grandchildren Avery, Quinn, Kylee, Kadence, McKenna, Jon Mika, Arabela, Brylie, Kolton, Terquois, Eyce, Sophilla, Brenna, Mason and Kai’Dyn; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, an abundant number of loved ones, and friends
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Ida Katuin; her husband, Roger Naylor; three daughters Carla Ann Kintz, Vickey McLaughlin and Rhonda Owens; one grandson, Nathan McLaughlin; and two brothers Allan Leroy and Walter Duane Katuin.
