Arkansas falls in heartbreaker

Arkansas falls

Arkansas falls in the SEC Tournament Thursday afternoon after Ole Miss guard Sean Pedulla, who had only made one 3-pointer (1-of-7), but it came with two seconds left to give his Rebels an 83-80 victory over Arkansas in the second round of the basketball SEC Tournament Thursday afternoon.

The loss spoiled a double-double by Trevon Brazile (15 points and 11 rebounds – including six offensive boards) as five Razorbacks scored in double figures.

Arkansas was down eight at halftime thanks to a 7-0 run to end the period. Arkansas then out-scored the Rebels, 10-4 to start the second half as part of a 17-4 run. Ole Miss’ Davon Barnes temporarily halted the run with a 3-pointer.
