Bobby Lee Benson of Heavener was born Jan. 18, 1941 in Heavener to Delmar and Altie Mae (Woodral) Benson and passed away Sept. 16, 2025 in Heavener at the age of 84.

Graveside services were Saturday at the Hontubby Cemetery with Reverend Joe Haydon Hall officiating. Burial followed under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener with military honors by the Poteau DAV Chapter #63.
Survivors are three sisters Virginia Mae Hickman, Peggy Ann Terry and Janis Levon Tucker; one brother, Kenneth Ray Benson; two aunts Evelyn Woodral and Eva Janway; several other loved ones and friends
He was preceded in death by his parents Altie Mae and Delmar Benson; two sisters Patricia Benson and Carolyn Jo (Benson) Evans; and two brothers Jesse Lee Benson and Eugene Benson.
