Bokoshe man injured in accident

Bokoshe man injured in an accident when the ATV he was traveling east on Nubbin Ridge Road struck an animal in the roadway, causing the ATV to overturn.

Samuel Nutt, 58, of Bokoshe was transported by McAlester Regional Air Care to St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa.

The trauma team at St. John’s asks that people to be patient about checking on his condition as the calls are overwhelming the staff.

The accident was investigated by Trooper Zachary Hines, assisted by LeFlore County EMS, LeFlore County sheriff’s office and the Spiro Fire Department.
