Carl Albert State College reports enrollment growth

Carl Albert State College in Poteau announces an increase in enrollment for the fall 2025 semester.

Preliminary numbers, based on enrollment as of the first day of the semester, show:

• Overall Headcount: Upseven percent
• Credit Hours: Upnine percent
• Concurrent Enrollment: Up15 percent

“These numbers are a testament to the hard work of our faculty, staff, and community partners,” said President Jay Falkner. “More students are choosing Carl Albert because they see the value of a high-quality education close to home—with flexible options to fit their lives.”
