Carolyn Sue (Fox) Jones obituary

Carolyn Sue (Fox) Jones of Heavener was born Oct. 17, 1945 at home in Stapp to Emery “Pad” and Christeen (Permenter) Fox and went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 31, 2025 at her home in Heavener at the age of 80.

Funeral service is 2 p.m., Monday at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener with Brother Joey Bottoms officiating. Burial will follow in the Reichert Cemetery, under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.

Carolyn was a long-time resident of the area. She married William “Bill” Jones in October of 1962. Carolyn was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Carolyn will be deeply missed by who knew and loved her.

Surivors are two granddaughters Sakari and Gracie Jones of Germany; two sisters Ladonna Steelman and Connie Smith, both of Heavener; several nieces, nephews, other loved ones, and friends whom loved her very much

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pad and Christeen Fox; her husband, Bill Jones; both sons, Kenneth and Keith Jones; six brothers; and two sisters.

Pallbearers are Randall Fox, Trevor Fox, Brandon Holley, Eric Blaylock, Emery Smith, and Cody Harvell.

Viewing is from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.
