“Backslider’s Wine,” which features Randy Smith, Reggie Wells and yours truly, will put on the “Backslider’s Wine World Reunion Tour 2025” at the Shady Point Community Center on Sunday. It’s FREE to the public and will start at 2 p.m. after church, so all will be able to make it.

It just goes to show that if you stay around long enough, past good times will come back around. The bad times have either had the statute of limitations run out, OR you have done a good fourth step on it.

If you’re paying attention, you know someone that has been affected by drugs in LeFlore County, but it seems to me from just my limited view of the current threat, fentanyl, that raising awareness of the very real danger of overdose and death could save a few — a few lives, a few families and relieve them from the devastating effects of this insane side of addiction.
