Chester “Chuck” Goodwin death notice

Chester “Chuck” Goodwin, 75, of Poteau passed away peacefully on Sept. 2, 2025, in Sallisaw.

He was born Oct. 29, 1949 in Cameron. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War.

Graveside services are 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Fairview Cemetery in Cameron with Glenn Baggs officiating. 

Survivors are his partner of 30 years, Pat (French) Pickle; his brother Steven Goodwin and wife Janice; stepchildren Michael Tackett and Tracy Moquett; granddaughters Jackelynn Gutierrez and Zoe Nesbitt; and grandsons Hunter Tackett and Jake Tackett.

He was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Aleen Goodwin, and his sister, Mary Lou Courtney.
