Donald Albert Baker Jr. of Howe was born Oct. 19, 1953 in Baltimore, Maryland to Donald, Sr. and Jane (Blossom) Baker and passed away March 17, 2026 in Poteau at the age of 72.

Donald held many job titles such as a minister, risk management for Native American Tribes, insurance and finance, and reserve police officer in San Bernardino, California. He was a member of the Otterbein Methodist Church. Donald loved playing on his tractor, playing piano, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, cousin, and friend. Donald will be deeply missed.
Survivors are his wife, Deborah Baker, of the home; one daughter, Danielle Dawn Harris, of Howe; one son, David Anthony Baker, of New Jersey; one sister, Dorene Mina Baker, of Howe; seven grandchildren Michelle Lee Elaine Baker-Bertoli, Michael Albert Baker II, Logan Alexander Baker, Elizabeth Hope Baker-Donaldson and husband Jayden, Logan Michael Harris and wife Dawn, Remy-Jax Harris and Xavier Gotham Harris; one great-granddaughter, Stacy Rose Donaldson; other family members, Megan Garcia; numerous family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Donald Albert, Sr. and Jane (Blossom) Baker; one son, Michael Albert Baker; and one sister, Brenda Jane Baker.
