Earnest Leon Easter of Wister was born Nov. 16, 1932 in Elk City to Earnest and Velma (Thompson) Easter and passed away surrounded by his family on Nov. 27, 2025 in Spiro, at the age of 93.

Earnest was a longtime resident of the area and a welder. He loved fishing, playing dominoes, dancing, and hugs from all of his great-great-grands. Earnest enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed life to the fullest. He will be dearly missed by all whom loved and knew him. Earnest was a veteran where he served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
Surviving family members are one son, Emmett Easter, of Amarillo, Texas; one brother, Terry Easter, of Sanger, Texas; two grandchildren Renee Loomis of Wister and Michael Bollinger of Amarillo, Texas; five great-grandchildren Brandon Perry, Nathan Perry, Joseph Easter, Joshua Allender and Chase Akin; 16 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Beverly Easter; two brothers Larry and Olen Easter; two sisters Ethel Swaim and Betty Bloomer; and a a great-grandson, Kaleb Easter.
Pallbearers are Billy Gullick, Braxton Willoughby, Brentley Perry and Raymond Perry. Honorary pallbearers are Josh Allender, Chase Akin, Nathan Perry and Brandon Perry
Viewing is from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. Friday. The family will have visitation with friends on Friday night from 5 until 70 p.m. at the funeral home.
