Graveside service for Sharon Kay Thompson set

Graveside service for Sharon Kay Thompson, 58, of Rock Island is 10 a.m. Wednesday at Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron. Services are under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.

She was born July 9, 1967, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Dorothy (Martin) Bollinger and Leroy Bollinger. She passed away  July 12, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Surviving family members are brothers, Jimmy Bollinger and Carl Bollinger; sister, Mary Elizabeth Siter and husband Ronnie; granddaughter, Carissa “Crissy” Tomlinson; great-granddaughters, lovingly referred to by Sharon as her “M&M&M’s”, Madison Tomlinson, MacKenzie Davis and Maelynn Davis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronnie Thompson; and sisters Donna Sims and Dortha Mae Pearson.
