Heavener boys win meet

Heavener boys win their own cross country meet Thursday while the Lady Wolves finished second.

The Wolves were led by meet champion, Morgan Altstatt, shown in the accompanying photo. Parker Brand was third, Geren Palmer fourth and Martin Vasquez fifth. Also receiving medals were Slayde Cockburn, Jerred Boss, Adan Walker and Diego Cruz.

Heavener’s girls were led by Kanan Summers, who finished fifth. Allison Palmer, Gracie Springfield and Jenna Scroggins also medaled.

For the middle school boys, Ethan Anderson finished first while Chipper Vanhook, Aiden Enger and Manny Lopez received a medal.
