Heavener runner signs with Carl Albert State College to run cross country.
Allison Palmer, a senior at Heavener, will become the 23rd cross country runner to get a college scholarship in Coach Ray West’s 14 years as cross country.
She is a state qualifier on Heavener’s cross country team and was praised at Monday’s signing by West for her hard work and leadership.
