Heavener teams dominate at Wilburton

Heavener teams win the Wilburton cross country meet Saturday.

Both the boys and girls finished as meet champion. The Lady Wolves were led by Kanan Summers, who finished third. Also receiving medals were Allison Palmer, Gracie Springfield, Jenna Scroggins, Emree Sumpter and Camilla Aguilar.

The men were led by meet champion Morgan Altstatt. Also receiving medals were Jerred Boss, Parker Brand, Geren Martin, Martin Vasques, Diego Cruz, Slayde Cockburn and Aden Walker.

The junior high boys were also meet champions, led by seventh grader Ethan Anderson. Also receiving a medal was Chipper Van Hook. Overall women’s meet champion was Mary Ann Hernandez. Also in the top 10 were Lynnly Springfield and McKenze White.

Next up for Heavener is a track meet at Acorn, Arkansas next week.
