Jackie Louise Shupert obituary

Jackie Louise Shupert of Heavener was born Aug. 8, 1946 in Odessa, Texas to Jack and Corrine (Lee) Bernard and went home to be with the Lord Nov. 11, 2025 in Heavener at the age of 79.

Funeral service is 10 a.m. Saturday at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener with Brother Gary Fitzpatrick officiating. Burial will follow in Conser Cemetery, under the care of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.

Jackie was a longtime resident of the area, a 1965 graduate of Poteau High School, and a homemaker. She was a member of the Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church. Jackie loved making cakes especially with the help of her husband. She loved spending time with her family. Jackie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, cousin, and friend. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

She is survived by husband, Charles Shupert, of Heavener; two sons Brian Shupert and wife Cheryl of Heavener, and Kevin Shupert and wife Angel of Heavener; eight grandchildren and one that was like a son, Clifton Shupert; several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; numerous other loved ones and friends whom loved her very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Corrine Bernard.

Pallbearers are her family

Viewing is from noon until 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. until 8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
