Jackie Rooks Ward obituary

Jackie Rooks Ward, 37, of Spiro passed away Dec. 16, 2025, in Tulsa.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Mallory-Martin Chapel in Spiro with Pastor Bobby Hogan officiating. Burial will follow at Spiro City Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro. A Wake Service was Friday.

Jackie was born March 10, 1988, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Carolyn (Cooper) Ward and Louie Ward. Jackie Rooks was a proud momma’s boy who deeply loved his mother. He found comfort in watching television and his favorite DVDs time and time again. Jackie was known for his routine of brushing his teeth, something he took very seriously, and he never passed up his favorite sweet treats. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Jackie Rooks had a big personality and a way of keeping everyone in line, leaving behind many stories and memories that will always be cherished.

Survivors are his wife, Patsy Ward; his children Memphis Ward, Molly Ward and Letty Ward; his parents Louie and Samantha Ward; sisters Tiffany Ward and Tess Ward; brother Christopher Ward and wife Heather; nephews Lucky, Zayn, and Landon; nieces Stormie, Blue, Honey, Payton and London; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his nephew, Outlaw Boswell; sister, Blessin Ward; grandparents, Jackie and Emma Lou Cooper and Myrtle and John Harrison; cousins, Henry Joe Harrison, Miracle Stanley, Italy Cooper, and Michael Ward, Jr.; and his aunt, Angie Harrison.

Pallbearers are Memphis Ward, Lucky Boswell, Christopher Ward, Landon Ward, Ezzie Ray Stanley, Brian Stanley and Lil Joe Cooper. Honorary pallbearers are Tiffany Boswell and Tess Ward.
