James “Joe” Niblett death notice

James “Joe” Niblett, 77, of Cameron passed away Feb. 6, 2026, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

He was born Aug. 13, 1948, in Cameron to Lela (Potter) Niblett and Jess James Niblett.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau. Burial will follow at Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.

He was a Vietnam Veteran.

Survivors include his daughter, Terry Cody, of Cameron; son, William Langdell Jr. of Sallisaw;  grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and sisters Ruth Ann Beshers and Linda Harrison.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Linda Niblett; children Harold Wilson Jr. and Ginger Wilson; granddaughter, Laikland McGowan; sister, Betty Niblett; and brothers, Bob, Tommy,and Jack Niblett.

Pallbearers are Billy Langdell, Colten Langdell, Caleb Langdell, Chris Wilson, Gabriel Cody and Daniel Wassinger. 

Visitation is Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
