Kellie Sabrina Pruitt of Wister was born Nov. 5, 1967 in Poteau to Jack and LaWanna (Henson) Collins and passed away Nov. 30, 2025 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 58.

Kellie was a life-long resident of the area. She enjoyed singing and listening to country music, especially Meryle Haggard and Conway Twitty. Kellie loved spending time with her family, especially her sisters. She was very funny, feisty, flirtatious, and adventurous. Kellie was also a loving wife, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all whom knew and loved her.
Survivors are her husband, John Pruitt, Jr., of the home; her bonus kids John Leroy Pruitt III (Baby Trey) of Muskogee, Elias Rhett Pruitt of Nashville, Tennessee and April (Pruitt) Craig of Oklahoma City; her bonus grandkids Conway Pruitt, Randall Pruitt, John Leroy Pruitt IV, Turner Pruitt, Shyann Pruitt, Alyssa Warren, Chelsea Craig and Cody Pruitt; her bonus great-grandkids Rheed Warren and Denton Warren; three sisters Ginger Adams and husband Darrell of Wister, Mitzie Mathis and husband Doug of Poteau and Tammy Plummer of Poteau; four nieces Holly Billy, Tyger Collins, Lacey Thompson and Sabrina Wooten; 10 nephews Chad Duschel, Nathan Duschel, Michael Duschel, Chris Adams, Dustin Adams, Bradley Adams, Dej Mathis, Clayton Collins, Myles Collins and Ayden Collins; numerous other relatives and friends.
Kellie was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and LaWanna Collins; one sister, Penny Qasem; two brothers Brett Collins and Barry Collins; and two great-nephews Matt Duschel and Zac Duschel.
Pallbearers are Chris Adams, Dustin Adams, Bradley Adams, Dej Mathis, Randall Pruitt, John Leroy Pruitt III and John Leroy Pruitt IV.
Viewing for Kellie will be from noon until 7 p.m. Friday with the family greeting friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Dowden-Roberts Funeral & Cremation Center Chapel, 28918 205th Avenue in Poteau.
