LeFlore County commissioner minutes for 9-8-2025

LeFlore County commissioner minutes from a regular business meeting Monday at the courthouse in Poteau with with Chairman Jamie Oliver presiding. Also present were 1^st Deputy Mike Parker for District 1, Member Josh Blaylock and County Clerk 1^st Deputy Jedd Kirby. Absent: Vice- Chair Vallard Campbell and County Clerk Kelli Ford.

The following action was taken by the board:

• Chairman Jamie Oliver called meeting to order.
• Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Josh Blaylock to approve the minutes of regular meeting held Sept. 2, 2025.  Motion was approved, all voting yes.

• Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Josh Blaylock to approve purchase orders as presented. Motion was approved, all voting yes.

• Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Josh Blaylock to approve monthly fee reports as presented by the Election Board. Motion was approved, all voting yes.

• Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Josh Blaylock to approve the following transfers of appropriations:
• $2,903.48 from Election Board SL 1-A account to General Matching R-7 ($2,783.20) and General Insurance R-9 ($120.28) accounts.
• $2,000 from General M&O R-2 account to District Attorney General M&O A-2 account.

Motion was approved, all voting yes.

• Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Josh Blaylock to approve blanket purchase orders as presented and are on file in the office of the County Clerk. Motion was approved, all voting yes.

• New Business: None discussed.

• Contract Labor/ Service Agreements, Annual Contracts: None presented.

• Burn Ban: Not needed at this time. No discussion.

• Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Mike Parker to approve request for floodplain services and permit application for public service/ pipeline crossing as submitted by Arkansas Oklahoma Gas located at Section 9, Township 8 North, Range 25 East, LeFlore County. Motion was approved, all voting yes.

• Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Mike Parker to approve programming resolution for project number 26-CBRI-D1-RD-P111 regarding improvements on Edwards Loop located in LeFlore County Commissioner District 1. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
