LeFlore County commissioners
LeFlore County commissioners met in a regular business meeting Tuesday with Chairman Jamie Oliver presiding. Also present were Vice-Chair Vallard Campbell, Member Josh Blaylock and 2nd Deputy Jenna Wiles. Absent: County Clerk Kelli Ford.
The following action was taken by the board:
- Chairman Jamie Oliver called meeting to order.
- Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Vallard Campbell to approve the minutes of regular meeting held May 19, 2025. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
- Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Josh Blaylock to approve purchase orders as presented. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
- Monthly Fee Reports: None presented.
- Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Vallard Campbell to approve transfer of appropriations in the amount of $620 from E-3 OSU Capital Outlay Account to E-1C OSU Travel Account. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
- Blanket Purchase Orders: None presented.
- New Business: None discussed.
- Contract Labor/ Service Agreements, Annual Contracts. None presented.

- Motion was made by Josh Blaylock and seconded by Vallard Campbell to approve extension for LeFlore County Flood Plain Development Permit #041520240026 regarding public service/ pipeline crossing boring along/ under Old State Highway 112 approximately 988 feet East from the SW Corner of Section 17, Township 7N, range 26E, Oklahoma. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
- Motion was made Josh Blaylock and seconded by Vallard Campbell to approve plat maps as submitted by CDF & Associates concerning new subdivision known as Station Road Pines located in Section 23, Township 8 North, Range 23 East, LeFlore County. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
- Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Josh Blaylock to approve Solid Waste request form 08012024 OCCEDB for fiscal year 2026 regarding request in the amount of $3,500 for the purchase of a new chainsaw. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
- Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Vallard Campbell to approve Resolution allowing County Treasurer to reinvest surplus of County Health Department Funds for May, 2025. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
- Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Josh Blaylock to approve letter regarding LeFlore County’s support in collaborating with IBT Group USA to bring high- quality broadband infrastructure to the community. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
- Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Josh Blaylock to approve Resolution regarding request to gate off Bokoshe Mountain Road, erroneously stated as Blue Goose Road, and Latham Road at Brazile Creek Crossing located in Shady Point, Oklahoma in the event a flood threat is eminent. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
- Motion was made by Josh Blaylock and seconded by Vallard Campbell to approve State of Emergency Resolution as submitted by the LeFlore County Emergency Management Department. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
- Motion was made by Josh Blaylock and seconded by Vallard Campbell to approve Resolution for Disposing of Equipment regarding the Sale of County Property inventory number D2-322.020, John Deere Backhoe, purchased from Stribling Equipment in the amount of $103,007.85, to Extreme Work & Play in the amount of $40,000. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
