The other three County teams open play next week with Heavener hosting Central and Panama traveling to Spiro for a Thursday night game. Other LeFlore County games in Week 0 are Talihina at Porter; Canadian at Arkoma; and Poteau visiting McAlester.
Poteau avenged a 14-10 loss in last year’s win over Booneville as the Pirates took control early and cruised to the win over the Arkansas small school power that finished 11-2 last year, reaching the third round of the state playoffs.
