Lenda Mae Andrews of Heavener was born Feb. 2, 1943 in Bennington to George and Jessie (Hamill) Jackson and passed away Jan. 17, 2026 in Heavener at the age of 82.

Lenda married Jerry in 1967. They spent 36 adventure filled years together raising their kids and loving their grandkids. She was a woman of many talents. Some of her favorite hobbies included photography, sewing, painting, baking, and expanding her ever growing flower gardens.
Survivors are two sons Todd Andrews and wife Annette of Howe, and
Len Andrews of North Richard Hills, Texas; one daughter Vicky Tarkington and husband Terry of Holland, Texas; two sisters Sandy Milbauer and husband Joe of Howe, and Deanie Cockrill of Euless, Texas; four grandsons; six granddaughters; numerous great-grandchildren; numerous other loved ones and a host of friends whom loved her very much.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry Andrews; one son, Jerry Andrews, Jr.; and two brothers Freddie and Buddy Jackson.
A special thank you goes out to the Heavener Nursing Home. They opened their hearts to her three years ago and took excellent care of her, giving her the nickname “Queen of the Nursing Home”.
