Loretta Jean Gibson, 71, of Wister passed away Aug. 11, 2025, at her home in Wister and was born Oct. 5, 1953 in Poteau to Aaron and Lila (Arnhart) Standridge.

Surviving family members are daughters Nicole Steelman and husband Jeff, and Brandy Delozier and husband Travis; grandchildren Amber McCage and husband Gus, Kirstin Martinez and Chevy Steelman; great-grandchildren, Khloie Swindle, Lincoln Swindle, Jamison McCage, Lexi McCage, and Wynsler Steelman; siblings June Thomas and husband John, Mike Standridge and wife Brenda, Wilma Metzker and late husband Bo, Brenda Griffin and husband Mike, and Sherri Standridge.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Gibson; grandson, Axel McCage; infant brother, Clay Standridge; and her parents.
