Mary Lois Brand-Proulx service set

Mary Lois Braund-Proulx was born Jan. 22, 1934, in Talihina to Harold Dean Cumpton and Eunice Loyd Panter and passed away Dec. 19, 2025, in Centerton, Arkansas.

She was a resident of Talihina most of her life until 2023 when she relocated to Centerton, Arkansas to be with family. She attended Talihina High School and worked as a medical clerk throughout her life.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at New City Cemetery in Talihina, under the direction of McCarn Funeral Service of Talihina.

Survivors are children Danny Burl Neighbors of Centerton and Nancy Lynn Christian of Locust Grove, Georgia; her grandchildren Amy Neighbors Clark of Duncan, Danny Neighbors of Bentonville, Arkansas, Darrell Neighbors of Springfield, Missouri, Freddie Neighbors of Cedarville, Joseph Neighbors of Cedarville, Arkansas and Kelsey Christian Presson of McDonough, Georgia; and her great-grandchildren Brooks Presson, Parker Presson, Jacobi Clark Davis, Nathan Clark, Brandon Neighbors, Kayleigh Neighbors, Bryce Neighbors, Xaila Neighbors and Tehya Neighbors; and her great-great-grandchildren Quinn Davis and Grayson Davis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Armand Edgar Proulx; and grandson, Cameron Christian.
