Melissa Rena’ Queen of Heavener was born July 7, 1967 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Bill and Cleo (Horsley) Queen and passed away Aug. 10, 2025 surrounded by family in Heavener at the age of 58.

Melissa was a longtime resident of the community and “The Ranch Foreman”. She was a member of the Forrester Baptist Church and held a profound love for all animals, particularly horses. Melissa was known for her warm spirit and the joy she found in spending time with family and friends. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Melissa will be remembered fondly by her loved ones.
She is survived by one sister Melinda Davis and husband Dwayne of Heavener; one aunt, Sue Queen of Westville; three nephews
Dustin Davis and wife Jessica, Tristen Davis and Dalton Davis; two great-nephews Parker and Hudson Davis; one great-niece, Averi Davis; her Granny; other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Bill and Cleo (Horsley) Queen; and an uncle, Jerry Davis.
Pallbearers are Dwayne Davis, Dustin Davis, Tristen Davis, Dalton Davis, Richard Welch and Jamie Johnson.
Viewing is from noon until 6 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until noon Wednesday at the funeral home.
