Born on Sept. 22, 1943, in Ontario, California, Charles was the beloved son of Ruby Ida Chastain and Leroy Charles Antill. He passed away peacefully July 8, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, surrounded by the love of his family.
Charles proudly served his country for 30 years in the United States Navy, rising to the distinguished rank of Master Chief before retiring. His deep sense of duty, loyalty, and integrity left a lasting impression on everyone who served alongside him.
After his military service, Charles became a well-known and well-loved member of the Spiro community. As the co-owner of Showbox Video, he was a familiar and friendly face to many locals, who came to know him not only as a businessman but as a kind soul with a sharp wit and generous heart. A lifelong collector, Charles found joy in the stories and memories behind every treasured item he acquired.
Charles was united in marriage to Patricia Ann (Israel) Antill on Jan. 18, 2002, in Fort Smith. Their bond was one of love, partnership, and shared purpose.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Patricia Antill; his children daughters Tracie MacChesney, Cathy Sumner and husband Russell, Staci Ruark, and Skyler Lane and husband Weston; sons Kenneth Antill, Jeremy Antill and wife Misty, Chase Antill and wife Patty, and John Charles Antill and wife Diane; his sister, Eva Chittenden; brother, Richard Antill and wife Eula; along with a large and loving extended family that includes many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous other relatives and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Ruby Antill, his stepmother, Lillian Antill, and his grandson, Matthew Antill.
Charles Bee Antill lived a life defined by service, love, and community. He leaves behind a legacy of strength, humor, and unwavering devotion to his family and country. He will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
