Memorial services for Marvin Frank Powell, 73, of Poteau are 4 p.m. Friday at the Hugo Community Center.

He was born Oct. 23, 1951, in Sawyer to Dorethea Helen (Lowman) Powell and Perry Abslone Powell and passed away June 27, 2025, in Poteau.

Surviving family members are his children Duane Powell, Kevin Powell and April Biegler; sister, Sharon Rose Powell; brother, Jack Wiley Powell; grandchildren: Adam, Bryant, Kiera, Jordan, and Ashlynn; and numerous great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Billy Jack Powell; sister, Marie Powell; and brothers John Powell and Lynn Powell.
