Obituary for Melissa Ann Hall

Melissa Ann Hall of Hackett, Arkansas (formerly of Heavener) was born May 18, 1980 to Dennis and Victoria (Pimentel) Misener in Bakersfield, California and passed away surrounded by her family on May 28, 2025 in Hackett, Arkansas at the age of 45. She was a beloved wife, grandmother, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.

Graveside service is 11 a.m., Saturday at Mt. View Cemetery in the Glendale Community in Heavener with Reverend Philip Jones officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.

Melissa, a cherished member of the community and a dedicated tech at Mercy Hospital, touched many lives throughout her years. An avid traveler and kayaking enthusiast, she found joy in exploring the outdoors. Above all, her greatest joy came from her beloved grandbabies, who she adored. Melissa’s time spent with family and friends was a testament to her loving nature. She will be forever remembered for her radiant smile, generous spirit, and fiery determination that inspired everyone around her. Her presence will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

Survivors are her husband of 28 years, Steven Wayne Hall, of the home; one daughter, Grace Hall, of Hackett, Arkansas; two sons Michael Hall and wife Aleah of Wiesbaden, Germany, and Matthew Hall and wife Baylee of Cameron; her father Dennis Misener and wife Lisa of Rock Island; her grandchildren Flynn Alexander and Lyla Bell Hall; three sisters Donna and partner Scott of Ponca City, Fawnetta and partner Ray of Heavener, and Jennifer Eskstein and husband Tony of Milbank, South Dakota; one brother DJ Misener and wife Yvonne of Heavener; numerous nieces, nephews, an abundant number of loved ones, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Victoria (Pimental) Misener.

Pallbearers are Steven Hall, Matthew Hall, Michael Hall and Zach Chamber. Honorary pallbearers are Wayne Elmore, Steve Bundy, Dennis Misener and DJ Misener.

Viewing is from noon until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
