Lower Illinois River: Dec 19. Elevation is normal (stable), water temperature 53°F and clear. Rainbow trout fair on caddis flies, in-line spinnerbaits, midges, nymphs, PowerBait, worms around below the dam, shallows, shorelines. Kaw: Dec 22. Elevation is normal (stable), water temperature 42°F and stained. Blue and channel catfish good on cut bait, shad, sunfish around below the dam, main lake, river channel. Crappie fair on jigs, minnows, tube jigs around brush structure, main lake, riprap, standing timber. Paddlefish slow on snagging around below the dam. Keystone: Dec 22. Elevation is 2 ft. above normal (falling), water temperature 50°F and clear. Largemouth bass fair on Alabama rigs, bill baits, crankbaits, in-line spinnerbaits, plastic baits, small lures, spinnerbaits around brush structure, rocks. Blue and channel catfish good on live bait, live shad around main lake. Crappie fair on jigs, minnows around brush structure. Blue River: Dec 23. Elevation is normal (stable), water temperature 55°F and clear. Rainbow trout good on caddis flies, dough bait, in-line spinnerbaits, midges, nymphs, PowerBait, small lures, spoons, worms around brush structure, channels, creek channels, rocks. Hugo: Dec 19. Elevation is normal (stable), water temperature 51°F and stained. Largemouth, spotted, and white bass slow on bill baits, crankbaits, hair jigs, lipless baits, plastic baits around brush structure, channels, creek channels, points, riprap. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish fair on chicken liver, cut bait, live bait, sunfish around dam, discharge, points, river channel. Crappie fair on jigs, minnows around brush structure, points, river channel, standing timber. Report submitted by Chance Phillips, game warden stationed in Choctaw County.

Konawa: Dec 21. Elevation is normal (stable), water temperature 56°F and clear. Largemouth bass good on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, plastic baits around main lake, points, river channel, weed beds. Striped bass hybrids and white bass fair on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, live shad around discharge, inlet, river channel. Channel catfish slow on chicken liver, cut bait around discharge, inlet, riprap, weed beds. Report submitted by Garret Harley, game warden stationed in Seminole County.

McGee Creek: Dec 19. Elevation is 5 ft. below normal (falling), water temperature 49°F and stained. Largemouth and spotted bass good on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, lipless baits around brush structure, main lake, points, riprap, standing timber. Channel and flathead catfish good on cut bait, dough bait, shrimp, stinkbait around channels, main lake, riprap. Report submitted by Shay Loudermilk, game warden stationed in Atoka County.

Sardis: Dec 19. Elevation is 0.5 ft. below normal (stable), water temperature 55°F and stained. Largemouth bass slow on crankbaits, plastic baits around brush structure, channels, shorelines, standing timber. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish fair on cut bait, sunfish, worms around channels, standing timber. Crappie fair on jigs, minnows around brush structure, standing timber. Texoma: Dec 21. Elevation is normal (stable), water temperature 51°F and clear. Striped bass good on flukes, live shad around channels, flats, main lake. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on dough bait, live shad around channels, coves, docks. Crappie fair on caddis flies, hair jigs, jigs around brush structure, coves, points. Comments: Fishing this week has been good. Stripers continue to be good on live bait. Catfish are good live bait near river channels. Crappie are biting near brush piles and docks.
