
Oklahoma State loses to Missouri State
Oklahoma State fell to Missouri State, 16-2, in seven innings Tuesday afternoon at Hammons Field.

Kollin Ritchie added to his team-leading RBI total by driving in a pair of runs for the Pokes; he now has 39 on the season.
Starter Brennan Phillips took the loss to fall to 1-2 as he allowed four runs in his lone inning of work. The Cowboys used seven pitchers in the contest.
The Bears jumped on top early, loading the bases on a single, walk and hit by pitch before a grand slam off the bat of Carter Bergman put the home team up 4-0.
Missouri State doubled its lead with another grand slam in the second, with Logan Fyffe’s shot making the score 8-0.
After another Bergman home run pushed the OSU deficit to nine, the Cowboys got on the scoreboard in the fifth. With the bases loaded, Ritchie delivered a two-RBI double to center field.
The Bears rallied for six runs in the fifth inning and added their final run in the sixth.
The Cowboys return to Big 12 Conference action Thursday at BYU. The opener and Friday’s contests are set for 7 p.m. (CDT) with first pitch for Saturday’s finale at noon (CDT).
