Richard Clydeen Covey was born Feb. 19, 1949, at home in Wister to Clyde and Rebecca (Becky) Covey (Warlick) and passed away April 7, 2026, in Colbert.

Survivors are sister Reba Tamplin and husband Jerry; brother Terry (Pork) Covey and wife Leslie; his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and older brother CW Covey and his nephew Casey Joe Covey.
