Roland defeats Poteau boys in basketball Saturday at the Choctaw Nation Invitational Tournament at Talihina, 63-51.

The Pirates are 2-3 and scheduled to play at Roland Tuesday.
Roland, ranked second in Class 3A, improves to 4-0, and plays Pocola Monday in the CNIT championship game.
Joseph Ullom led Poteau with 13 points, Deacon King added 12 and Garrison Whitworth scored 10.
The Rangers were led by Damonte Owens’ 23 points, Raidon Knight added 14 and Landon Fowler scored 12.
