Timothy Earl Asher obituary

Timothy Earl Asher, 82, of Spiro will have private family services held at a later date.

Cremation services are under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro.

Timothy was born on June 30, 1943, in Merced, California, to Ruby June (Ralph) Allen and Earl James Asher. He passed away on Aug. 30, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Timothy was raised in the Christian faith. He had a lifelong passion for working on cars, and especially enjoyed spending time with his beloved 1956 Ford truck. Most of all, he treasured moments shared with family and friends. A proud United States Army veteran, he honorably served his country during the Vietnam War.

Surviving family members are his wife, Leann Asher; daughters Janet Suazo, Lillian Serna, Jennifer Serna, Yolanda Aguilar and Lisa Martin; sons Valente Asher, Michael Thornton and Martin Serna; grandchildren Erica, Monique, Joey, Eddie, Amanda, Anthony, Hector, Vanessa, Christopher, Nicholas, Rheann, Richard, Sabrina, Adrian, Janise, Gloria, Alissa, Joseph and Valente; great-grandchildren Tiffany, Isyss, and Amber; sisters, Pat Trujillo, Fran Flint and Barbara Allen; brothers Tony Asher, Douglas Asher and Steve Asher; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
