Wanda Claiborn services set

Wanda Lee (Branscum) Claiborn, 91, passed away at her home in Wister Sept. 6, 2025 and was born May 23, 1934 in Fanshawe to Charlie and Pearl Branscum.

Funeral services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ellis Chapel in Wister with Charlie Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Wister City Cemetery.

Surviving family members are her daughter, Kaye Johnson, of Waldron, AR; son and daughter-in-law Gary and Tammy Claiborn of Wister; son, Charles Claiborn, of Wister; her brother N.L. Branscum and his wife Judith; her sister-in-law, Sharon Branscum; grandchildren Cassie and Joey Deer of Greenwood, Arkansas, Crystal Casey of Huntsville, Arkansas, Kelly Scott of Van Buren, Arkansas, Jonathon Marvin, of Greenwood, Arkansas, Megan and Morgan Welch of Greenland, Arkansas, Greg Claiborn of Wister, and Jessica and Clint Vaughn of Wister.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Claiborn; her parents Charlie and Pearl Branscum; an infant son; daughter-in-law, Angela Claiborn; sisters-in-law Maureen Cook and Margaret Baldwin; brothers Pat Branscum and his wife Carol, and George Branscum.

The family invites you to a visitation Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Evans and Miller Funeral Home

Pallbearers are Bud Morgan, Cliff Morgan, Bill Cripps, Don Donaho, Robert Branscum and Dan Cook. Honorary pallbearer is Phillip Baldwin.
