I took an old black and white picture of the 1976 Heavener football starters that my father, Gene Hall, took and converted it to color.
The Wolves were 1-8 that season under Coach Robert Swinford. The Wolves opened with a win over Panama before losing the final eight games of the season, which set the stage for the next year when the Wolves tied for the district championship.
