This is a photo of the famous Peter Conser (1852-1934) along with three members of the Choctaw Lighthorsemen. Conser went on to serve as high sheriff of Sugar Loaf County, as a representative of the Choctaw Council and as a Choctaw senator. His former home is located west of Hodgen.
