Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Arkansas all suffered losses Saturday, while Tulsa had an open date before beginning its November schedule.

Oklahoma fell to South Carolina, 42-25, in Norman despite forcing three turnovers and committing none. The Sooners dropped to 4-4 overall and 2-3 in Southeastern Conference play.

Kip Lewis returned an interception 30 yards for a touchdown to tie the game at 7 in the second quarter, but South Carolina pulled away to lead 28-10 at halftime and 35-10 in the third quarter.

John Mateer completed 26 of 43 passes for 244 yards and two touchdowns. Ivan Carreon caught five passes for 88 yards, including both touchdown receptions. South Carolina finished with 521 yards of offense to Oklahoma’s 359.

The Sooners visit Florida on Saturday, Nov. 7, with kickoff scheduled for 6:45 p.m. on SEC Network.

Oklahoma State’s fourth-quarter comeback ended in disappointment as Iowa State won, 51-49, on Kyle Konrardy’s 34-yard field goal as time expired in Ames.

The Cowboys erased a 10-point deficit and moved ahead, 49-48, on a Wyatt Young touchdown reception with 53 seconds remaining. An unsportsmanlike conduct penalty following the score forced Oklahoma State to kick off from its own 20-yard line. Iowa State then used a 33-yard completion to move into scoring range.

Drew Mestemaker threw for 323 yards and five touchdowns. Caleb Hawkins rushed for 194 yards and two touchdowns while adding six catches for 81 yards and another score. Justin Bowick caught seven passes for 124 yards and two touchdowns.

Oklahoma State fell to 5-3 overall and 3-2 in the Big 12. The Cowboys travel to Kansas State on Nov. 7 for a noon Central kickoff.

Arkansas could not overcome costly mistakes in a 34-10 home loss to No. 23 Missouri.

The Tigers turned four Razorback turnovers into 24 points. Arkansas trailed 13-7 at halftime before Missouri scored two third-quarter touchdowns to take control. The Razorbacks managed just 59 rushing yards and 288 total yards, falling to 3-5 overall and 1-4 in SEC play.

Antonio Jordan provided an Arkansas highlight with seven receptions for a career-high 106 yards, his first 100-yard receiving game. The Razorbacks visit Auburn on Nov. 7 at 11:45 a.m. Central on SEC Network.

Tulsa had an open date Saturday and remains 4-4 overall and 1-3 in American Conference play.

The Golden Hurricane last played Oct. 23, losing to Army, 38-35, when Dawson Jones kicked a 50-yard field goal on the final play. Tulsa had led 35-28 in the fourth quarter before Army scored the final 10 points.

Tulsa returns to action at Tulane on Nov. 7, with kickoff scheduled for 11 a.m. Central in New Orleans.
