Daniel Ray Jennings of Wister was born Aug. 21, 1974 in Irving, Texas to David Ray Jennings and Robin Annette (Easttom) Lynch and passed away May 2, 2026 in Cameron, at the age of 51.

Daniel was a longtime resident of the area. He was a proud retired Captain in the United States Army, exemplifying dedication and service throughout his military career.
Daniel had a passion for the outdoors, often found riding motorcycles and kayaking. He enjoyed spending time searching for unique rocks, blending his love for nature with his interests in history and geology. His enthusiasm for these subjects enriched his life and the lives of those around him.
Above all, Daniel treasured the time he spent with his family, particularly his beloved granddaughter. His warmth, spirit, and sense of adventure will leave a lasting impact on his loved ones. Daniel will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Aubrie Jennings, of the home; his mother, Robin Lynch, of Poteau; one son Devon Ray Jennings and wife Cloie of Spiro; one brother,
Christopher Jennings and wife Kaci of Hiram, Georgia; one granddaughter, Kendra Jennings, of Spiro; two uncles David Manen and Jo Anne Smith of Sapulpa, and Mike Manen and wife Janet of San Diego, California; one niece Katie Dollar and husband Ryan; two nephews Jacob Jennings and wife Tanisha of Hiram, Georgia and Jesse Jennings of Hiram Georgia; his best friend Gary Risley and wife Misty of Cumming, Georgia; numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Jennings; and a daughter, Danielle Jennings.
