Doris “Jeannie” Miller passed away April 19, 2026, in Sallisaw at the age of 72. She was born on Nov.11, 1953, in Oildale, California to Jack and Stella (Payne) Powell.

Survivors are her daughter, Stephanie Miller, of Sallisaw; her son, Michael Dennis Miller, of Texas, three sisters Wanda Wheat of Tulsa, Linda Unruh of Chouteau and Sharon Hall of Keys; two grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Stella (Payne) Powell, her husband, Norman Miller, her brother Jack Powell, Jr., and one grandson.
