Edward (Eddie) Owen Martin, 63, of Wister, passed away June 5, 2026.
A funeral service is at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bethel Baptist Church in Wister, with Sam Walden and Kane Riggs officiating. Burial will follow at Ellis Chapel Cemetery in Wister, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
Survivors include his son, Don Allen Martin, and wife Haley; granddaughter, Vera Jean Martin; sister, Donna Jean Fields; niece, Beth Phillips, and husband Adam, and their sons Fynn, Nolan, Graham and Bear Phillips; and nephew, Bryan Fields, and wife Erin, and their children Owen, Eden, Dawson and Hudson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Don Alton Martin and Vera Darlene Hamner, and his nephew, Brad Fields.
Viewing and visitation are from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
