Heat continues for Sept. 13, 2026

Heat continues Sunday in Heavener and LeFlore County with a high of 100 degrees with another chance of a stray shower or thunderstorm. The low will be 75 degrees.

There is a heat advisory from noon until 7 p.m. Sunday so stay cool and hydrated. Also check on your elderly relatives and neighbors.

Average temperatures for Sept. 13 are a high of 85 and lows of 58. Records for the date were a high of 103 in 1980 and a low of 46 in 1975.

Saturday’s high was 101 with a low of 71. A total of .01 inches of rain was recorded, bringing the monthly total to 0.71 inches, still short of September’s average rainfall of 5.30 inches.
