Anglers J.T. Ray of Heavener, Coia Sneed, and Jeff Sittner took home the $50,000 grand prize at the Mississippi River Monsters Megabucs Pro Series fishing tournament Sunday, with a total catch weighing 175.90 pounds.
Teams competed to land the heaviest catfish, with a limit of three fish per team. The combined weight of each team’s catch determined the final rankings.
The winning team’s catch topped the second-place finishers by more than 25 pounds.
The first round of the tournament was held Saturday, narrowing the field to the top 20 teams. Those teams advanced to Sunday’s weigh-in to determine the final standings.
