Heavener girls complete an undefeated first week of the 2026 fast pitch softball season with a 14-0 win over McCurtain in the championship game of the LeFlore tournament on Saturday.
The Lady Wolves are now 6-0 and visit Westville Tuesday for a district game.
In the win over McCurtain Saturday, Kristy Shadwick went the distance, striking out 11 while allowing only two hits and only walking one.
Shadwick also homered and doubled while going 2-4 with four RBIs and a run scored. Anistyn Cartwright also homered and went 2-2 with three RBIs and three runs scored; Mattie Barnes doubled and was 2-3 with two runs scored and a RBI; Haylee Morison had a 2-3 outing with three RBIs and two runs scored; and Kaitlin Hurst went 2-2.
