Heavener runners shine at Muldrow Meet
Heavener runners competed in the Muldrow cross country meet Thursday and as usually, returned home with some hardware.
Read more: Heavener runners finish secondThe Wolves were second behind Class 3A’s top-ranked Sequoyah-Tahlequah team. The Wolves were led by Morgan Alstatt with Geren Palmer also bringing home a medal. The girls were led by Kanan Summers, who finished 11th.
Heavener’s junior high boys were led by seventh grader Ethan Anderson, who finished as runner-up. Chipper Van Hook also got a medal.
Heavener returns to action next week at Wister.
