Heavener wins the opening game of its 2025 fast pitch softball schedule Monday with a 9-1 win at Pittsburg.

Kristy Shadwick went the distance to get the win for Heavener. She allowed only two hits and one unearned run with three strikeouts and no walks.
Shadwick also led Heavener at the plate, going 3-3 with a RBI and freshman Anistyn Cartwright doubled while going 1-3 with two RBI and two runs scored.
