Joseph Frank Stimac memorial

Joseph Frank Stimac, 79, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away May 19, 2026, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born June 23, 1946, in Monroe, to Mattie (Thomas) Stimac and Anthony Stimac.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Direct cremation is under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Margie Bandy, Tona Knox, and Tammy Jergins; and brother, Anthony Stimac.

Survivors include his sisters, Joan Cunningham of Pocola, Lynn Anderson of Brinkley, Arkansas, and Dana McDaniel of Shady Point; brothers, James Stimac of Oklahoma City, Charles Stimac of Tulsa, Tommy Stimac of Summerfield, Matt Stimac of Panama, and Roy Stimac of Spiro; and numerous nieces, nephews, other loved ones, and friends.
